Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support microbiological testing and sterility assurance in a regulated manufacturing environment. The technician will collaborate closely with the production team, ensuring compliance with required aseptic techniques and undertaking environmental monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine monitoring once per week, including duties in physical EM.
- Engage hands-on with the Production team to oversee growing processes and teach aseptic techniques in both Grade A and Grade C environments.
- Participate in sterility testing and adapt to new microbial assays, such as bioburden and growth assays.
Qualifications
- BS Degree.
- 2 years of industry experience focused on microbiology laboratory experience relating to environmental monitoring, microbiology laboratory operations, or sterility assurance.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or radiopharmaceutical aseptic manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of microbiological testing methods and quality control procedures.
- Ability to author and dictate SOPs and support investigations.
Skills
- Proficiency in microbiological testing methods.
- Strong communication for writing SOPs.
- Teamwork and ability to support process investigations.
Experience
- 2 years of industry experience in the relevant field of microbiology and environmental monitoring.
Additional Requirements
1st shift schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility for an earlier start time.
