Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as the first point of contact for all membership-related inquiries, providing outstanding service to customers. Responsibilities include handling queries on benefits, eligibility, claims, and troubleshooting issues to ensure customer satisfaction. The role requires an individual who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling 40-50 inbound calls per day regarding plan benefits, ID card status requests, mailed materials, and plan comparisons.
- Managing minimal outbound calls, primarily routed through Team Leads unless resolving provider billing issues.
- Participating in system testing by entering data across the old system and new core replacement system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-year customer service in medical/healthcare experience with direct interactions with customers.
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Experience with health plans or Medicare Advantage is preferred.

Additional Requirements
Schedule flexibility after training (6 weeks). Available Monday through Friday with shift timings likely from 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM.
