Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Credentialing Manager responsible for leading the design, implementation, governance, and ongoing management of provider credentialing, enrollment, payor, and location data across Salesforce and Athena. This critical role serves as a liaison between Credentialing, Enrollment, IT, Operations, Implementation teams, and external vendors to ensure provider data accuracy throughout the Athena implementation and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of provider credentialing and data integration processes across Salesforce and Athena.
- Ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and oversee processes supporting provider onboarding, credentialing, enrollment maintenance, and hierarchy management.
- Serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendors.
- Drive long-term operational stability and project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare credentialing, payer enrollment, provider operations, or healthcare systems.
- Strong understanding of provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud or similar CRM and healthcare technology platforms.
- Experience with Athenahealth or other EHR platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in developing workflows, process documentation, and audit controls.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare credentialing, payer enrollment, provider operations, or healthcare systems.
- Experience supporting large-scale system implementations, data migrations, or operational transformation initiatives.
Skills
- Technical: Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, Athenahealth, and similar platforms.
- Soft: Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills; exceptional communication abilities.
Schedule/Shift
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST, with flexibility to work across all time zones.
