Title: MRI Technologist

Location: Brooklyn NYC

Facility Type: Outpatient Facility

Compensation:

• Up to $3150/Week Gross for Travel Contract (Includes $1900+ in Travel Stipends)

Duration: 8 Weeks, Opportunity for Extension

Start Date: ASAP

Shift/Schedule: M-F 4x10s: 7am-5:30pm

 Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans using state-of-the-art GE MRI machines with AI software and detachable tables.
• Execute a scan mix of ~20–25% breast imaging along with prostates, MRI abdomen, spine work, and general body MR
• Manage a volume of 16–18 scans per day scheduled in 30-minute time slots.
• Work independently or alongside a lead MRI technologist to ensure efficient patient care.
• Follow proper safety, patient positioning, and imaging protocols for complex diagnostic procedures.

Required Skills

• Certification: Active ARRT (RT) certification required (ARMRIT-only candidates are not accepted).
• Certification: Active IV Certification.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional MRI experience (no new graduates).
• Clinical Skill: Direct experience and comfort performing breast MRI scans.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience operating GE MRI equipment/magnets.
• Familiarity with academic-level imaging protocols, AI-driven MRI software, and specialized coils.
• Active BLS Certification (can be obtained during orientation week if needed).

Schedule/Shift

• Work Week: Monday through Friday (No weekends, no on-call).
• Shift Hours: 4x10 schedule, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
• Preferred Days Off: Flexible 4-day schedule
