Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Healthcare Operations Manager to lead the development and evaluation of AI models within the healthcare sector. The role involves authoring comprehensive tasks, creating evaluation rubrics, and ensuring accurate model handling of healthcare-specific terminology and standards. This position is entirely remote, offering flexibility along with the challenge of contributing to a significant AI project.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Scenario & Task Authoring: Create comprehensive and realistic healthcare operations prompts and scenarios to challenge AI models.
- AI Model Evaluation & Rubric Creation: Test prompts on active AI models, analyze output accuracy, and build detailed grading rubrics.
- Domain Validation: Ensure AI models accurately handle domain-specific terminology and compliance standards.
- Independent Execution: Work self-sufficiently using AI tools and project instructions.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred (or equivalent advanced practical domain experience).
Qualifications
- Strong background in Healthcare Operations, Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, or Payer/Health Plan Operations.
- Exceptional grit, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Consistent availability to dedicate 30–40 hours per week over a 12-week period.
- Reliable technology setup with a high-speed internet connection.
Skills
- Medical Coding & Billing / Rev Cycle: Experience preferred in roles like Medical Coders, Coding Auditors, and Revenue Cycle Analysts.
- Certifications: AAPC or AHIMA credentials such as CPC, CCS, CCA preferred.
- HIM & Compliance: Experience in HIM Management, Compliance, or HIPAA specialization.
- Utilization & Care Management: Experience as UR Nurses or Case Managers.
- Payer & Claims Operations: Experience as Claims Adjudicators, Credentialing Specialists, or Health Plan Operations staff.
- Prior AI Experience: Experience in remote data annotation or AI model evaluation a plus.
Schedule / Shift
Must commit to 30-40 hours per week for a 12-week period with flexible hours and days.
