Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Epic Radiant Analyst to collaborate with key stakeholders in the implementation of the Radiant module. The primary responsibilities include configuring system interfaces, verifying data accuracy, and providing support during key phases of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Configuring and updating HL7 interfaces and DICOM attributes to connect Epic Radiant to PACS.
- Ensuring seamless data flow between new or re-mapped imaging equipment and Epic via the DICOM Modality Worklist.
- Verifying radiologist dictations integrate back into Epic as signed reports, trigger billing, and notify ordering providers.
- Collaborating with database administrators to map, validate, and integrate legacy radiology data into Epic.
- Conducting simulations to ensure smooth workflows from order entry to claim generation.
- Providing cutover and Go-Live support, resolving interface errors, and assisting radiology staff.
Qualifications
- Epic Radiant Certification.
- Experience with integrations between two major health systems.
- Experience with PACS, especially Merge, is highly advantageous.
- Functional and integrated testing experience, including Go-Live support.
Skills
- Proficiency in configuring HL7 interfaces and working with DICOM attributes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Requirements
- Availability for a schedule of M-F 8-5, with a typical workload of 40 hours per week during the build phase, tapering to 20-30 hours during testing and go-live phases.
