Public - Responsibilities 

• Answer a high volume of inbound patient calls in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments while gathering all necessary clinical information.
• Ask detailed questions to determine the purpose of the visit, including any recent imaging, testing, or procedures completed.
• Verify insurance eligibility and ensure required authorizations are obtained prior to appointments.
• Accurately document detailed appointment notes so providers have the appropriate clinical context before each visit.
• Coordinate appointments while ensuring all required documentation and authorizations are in place.
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients and families, demonstrating empathy and patience during every interaction.
• Dealing with patients who have sleep apnea issues and need help 

Public - Required Skills

• 1–3 years of medical scheduling or patient care coordination experience. 
• Needs to have experience in the sleep apnea world and dealing with patients who have had these issues 
• Previous experience in a high-volume medical office.
• Strong appointment scheduling experience required.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, eligibility, and prior authorizations.
• Excellent documentation and note-taking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

They are proactive in asking the right questions, thorough in documenting patient information, and committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience while ensuring providers have everything they need before each appointment. Has to have experience dealing with patients who suffer from sleep apnea.
