Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform a variety of ultrasound exams and assist in obtaining patient histories. The role requires adherence to established protocols to ensure optimal imaging quality and an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo exams.
- Conduct a full range of vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, venous, arterial, ABI, and other vascular exams.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical staff.
- Obtain and present patient histories to interpreting physicians.
- Assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes.
- Work in a sterile environment based on established protocols.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring timely maintenance and reporting malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) Certification
- Active RDCS (ARDMS), or RCS (CCI); RVT/RVS a plus
- Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound program
- 2 years of ultrasound experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in cerebrovascular, venous insufficiency, and arterial imaging
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment
- Valid Driver’s License

- Technical proficiency in ultrasound imaging techniques
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff
Additional Requirements
- Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
