Our Client is seeking a Youth ACT Clinical Supervisor who serves as both a practicing clinician and a team leader within a community-based youth mental health program.

This role combines direct patient care, including intakes, therapy, and field-based case management, with crucial administrative oversight, documentation management, and staff supervision. The primary goal is to ensure high-quality care delivery, manage team performance, and support youth and families within their homes, schools, and communities. 

• Provide direct clinical care, including completing intakes, conducting therapy sessions, and making 1–2 client visits per day in field, home, school, or community settings.

• Oversee administrative tasks, including managing team schedules, distributing daily workloads, and ensuring all client medical and personal needs are addressed.

• Review, approve, and complete clinical documentation and assessments (such as Diagnostic Assessments/DAS).

• Conduct weekly 1:1 supervision sessions with staff members and lead regular clinical case reviews.

• Provide conflict resolution, performance management, and day-to-day guidance to the clinical team.

• Participate in a rotating on-call phone responsibility (one week at a time).

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field.

• Fully licensed mental health professional in Minnesota (LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT required).

• Active, fully independent Minnesota mental health license (LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT).

• Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience, including direct management of people, performance management, and conflict resolution (open to leadership experience gained outside of mental health settings).

• Valid driver’s license, a reliable personal vehicle, a clean driving record, and current personal auto insurance.

• Social work or community mental health experience (preferred).

• Previous Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team experience (preferred).

• Background working directly with youth and their families (preferred).

• Board-Approved Supervisor status in Minnesota (preferred).

• Bilingual capabilities (preferred).

• Demonstrated track record of leadership or staff supervision.

• Hands-on experience delivering individual and family-focused mental health interventions in field or community-based settings.

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills tailored to youth and families.

• Proficiency in clinical documentation, review, and compliance management.

• Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and staff development capabilities.

• Strong organizational, time-management, and workload-distribution skills.

• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills across diverse audiences.

• Ability and willingness to travel locally throughout the community to conduct home, school, and field-based client visits.

• Participation in a rotating on-call phone coverage schedule (comes with a stipend).

• Successful completion of a background check, as this position involves accessing confidential medical records, driving, and working directly with vulnerable populations (minors and families).

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (~40 hours/week).

• No regular weekend rotation; rotating 1-week on-call phone availability required.
