Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Temperature Taker who will be responsible for handling high call volumes and providing support to union members regarding their Individual Retirement Account (IRA) inquiries. The role involves assisting members with understanding their account details and options, including withdrawal and rollover procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle high call volumes, with an expectation of around 15 minutes per call for new hires and 9 minutes for experienced associates.
- Participate in weekly coaching sessions and team meetings to identify areas for improvement and receive updates.
- Ensure a 100% call acceptance rate and maintain quality expectations set at 90%.
- Guide union members through IRA-related inquiries, focusing on helping them understand their account and available options.
- Manage a busy workload, particularly during the first 30 days when members decide on their accounts.
Qualifications
- Stable work experience and tenure.
- Experience in healthcare or health plan member services, participant services, or a high volume call center environment.
- A reliable and professional remote work environment.
Skills
- Healthcare/health plan member services experience.
- Experience in benefits administration or introductory tech support.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
- Basic mathematical knowledge is suggested.
Additional Requirements
Must be available for shifts between 9:30am-6pm EST Monday-Friday (8:30am-5pm Central).
