Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Registered Nurse to join their team. The primary responsibilities include performing telephone triage, coordinating procedures, assisting with patient rooming, and supporting both physicians and clinical teams. This role is integral to maintaining efficient workflow and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform telephone triage by assessing patient concerns and determining the appropriate level of care.
- Coordinate and prepare patients for scheduled OB/GYN procedures.
- Conduct new obstetric (OB) phone intake screenings.
- Assist with rooming patients and preparing exam rooms.
- Support physicians and the clinical team to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Conduct quality control assignments for clinical documentation.
- Communicate lab, imaging, and diagnostic results to patients.
- Document patient interactions and care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with providers and staff for seamless patient care and operations.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance while providing patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 3–4 years of OB/GYN nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
