Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities include assisting healthcare providers with patient care, ensuring seamless patient flow, and maintaining exemplary patient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
- Accurately document patient information, provider notes, and clinical updates in Epic EMR.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with examinations, allergy testing, procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare and stock exam rooms, ensuring all clinical supplies and equipment are organized and readily available.
- Perform routine clinical tasks, including specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and other duties as assigned.
- Schedule patients, coordinate follow-up appointments, and assist with patient flow to ensure an efficient clinic experience.
- Answer patient questions, return phone messages, and communicate clinical information under provider guidance.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience
- Previous experience using Epic
- Prior allergy or immunology experience

- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Enjoys working in a close-knit office.
