Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care within a busy outpatient allergy practice. The role involves assessing patients, administering injections, and educating patients on treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a busy outpatient allergy practice.
- Assess patients, obtain medical histories, and document clinical information in the electronic medical record.
- Administer allergy injections, medications, immunizations, and other treatments as per provider orders and clinical protocols.
- Monitor patients for adverse or allergic reactions following treatments and respond to medical emergencies.
- Educate patients on allergy testing, immunotherapy, medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with allergy testing, procedures, and examinations.
- Perform clinical triage, answer patient questions, and coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Active BLS
- Active LPN or RN license in Massachusetts
- Previous injection experience
- Previous allergy experience preferred
- Epic experience preferred

- Experience with Epic (preferred)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
