Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to provide oversight for infusions administered in ambulatory infusion centers. The role includes collaborating with nurses and other healthcare professionals, monitoring infusion practices, and ensuring comprehensive patient care across centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight for infusions in ambulatory infusion centers.
- Collaborate with team members and travel to other centers when needed.
- Maintain strong knowledge of existing and developing infusion therapies.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
- Active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained upon hire.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Experience
- 2–5+ years of primary care or family practice experience.
- Experience caring for patients with complex chronic illnesses.
- Familiarity with specialty infusion medications and biologics.
Skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle changing environments calmly.
Additional Requirements
Must be willing to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays.
