Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to deliver exceptional customer service at a physician's office. The primary responsibilities include patient reception, registration, scheduling, and ensuring smooth clinic operations while using the Epic EMR system.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Reception & Registration: Provide concierge-level service by managing patient check-ins and phone inquiries.
- Safety Intake & Scripted Screening: Conduct protocol-driven intake scripts to ensure patient safety and accuracy in medical specifications.
- Patient Scheduling: Schedule and manage approximately 10 to 15 new patient appointments daily.
- Front-End Revenue Collection: Collect co-pays and manage financial documentation during patient check-ins.
- Clinic Coverage & Operations: Work alternating shifts and occasionally support neighboring clinic sites.
Qualifications
- At least 0.5 years of front desk/outpatient healthcare experience.
- 0.5+ years of dedicated customer service experience.
- Exceptional verbal communication and phone etiquette.
- Acute attention to detail for patient intake and data entry.
- Preferred: Epic EMR experience and specialized imaging/MRI front desk experience.
Skills
- Technical: Epic EMR system proficiency.
- Soft Skills: Communication, empathy, and professionalism.
Additional Requirements
- Alternating weekly shifts to support clinic operations.
