Job Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care while adhering to all NRC, state, and facility regulatory requirements.
• Perform high-quality PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures for patients across all age groups, from pediatric through geriatric populations.
• Prepare and educate patients on imaging procedures, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.
• Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and required compliance records.
• Complete routine quality control testing on imaging equipment and maintain all documentation required for accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Operate PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment, computer systems, and associated software applications.
• Follow all radiation safety protocols, including monitoring radiation exposure and maintaining dosimetry records.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and workflow to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Order, receive, and manage radiopharmaceutical doses for scheduled patient exams.
• Process, analyze, and optimize imaging data for physician interpretation.
• Maintain digital imaging records, including image storage, archiving, and system maintenance.
• Assist with insurance verification and other administrative duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, technologists, and support staff to provide outstanding patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PET/CT Technologist.
• ARRT certification required.
• Current registration through NMTCB, ARRT (N), or equivalent Nuclear Medicine credential.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of PET/CT or Nuclear Medicine experience.
• Experience working independently in a high-volume outpatient imaging environment.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• No nights, weekends, or call
• Flexible scheduling:
  • Four 10-hour shifts or
  • Five 8-hour shifts
