Job Summary
As a Patient Relations Representative, you will be a vital part of our client’s team, responsible for managing patient interactions including check-ins, insurance verification, scheduling, and handling a high volume of calls. You will contribute to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring effective communication between the patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient check-in and check-out
- Insurance verification
- Scheduling appointments
- Managing heavy phone volume (60-90 calls per person daily)
- Faxing documents
- Routing and tasking calls to providers
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of medical office experience
- Strong customer service skills
