Medical Assistant – Pediatrics

 

Location: Northgate & Seattle, WA

 

• Northgate recently opened their clinic, so adding extra help getting this new site up and running. 
• Will start 1-2 days a week at Northgate, then can adjust as needed.

An established Pediatric Clinic in Seattle is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team.

 

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Welcoming pediatric patients and efficiently conducting rooming procedures
• Administering routine pediatric vaccinations with care
• Conducting hearing testing and vision screenings
• Managing provider in baskets to ensure smooth daily patient communication
• Processing patient forms accurately and timely
• Performing routine CLIA-waived point-of-care testing
• Potentially supporting a secondary location at Northgate Plaza on Wednesdays as needed

 

Schedule/Shift:

• Flexible options available: Choose between 4x10s or 5x8s

 

Pay: $23-$29 an hour (Dependant on experience)

 

Requirements:

• Active MA-C (Certified) or MA-R (Registered) credentials in Washington State

 

Additional Skills:

• Empathetic approach and strong communication skills with patients, families, and staff

 

Contract Length: 13 weeks Contract-to-hire position. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.
