Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer responsible for executing customer-related change management activities, sustaining activities like CAPAs and non-conforming materials, and continuous improvement. The role is customer-facing with an emphasis on the Production Pre Approval Process.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Change Management activities for Ppap - Production Pre Approval Process, including writing FMEA and annotated drawings for new and/or updated customer products.
- Manage CAPAs effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in limited travel, potentially to Neenah, WI, once a year.
- Apply hands-on experience in CAPA and Production Pre-Approval processes.
Qualifications
- BS Degree; a background in Mechanical or Biotechnology is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in relevant fields are expected.
- Experience in Manufacturing, preferably in Automotive, Aerospace, Food, Pharma, or Device sectors.
- Proficiency in Production Pre Approval Process including change management activities such as writing FMEA and annotated drawings.
- Strong understanding of the CAPA process and validations.
- Med Device ISO 13485 knowledge is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant field.
- Experience in hands-on CAPA and Production Pre-Approval processes.
Skills
- Technical proficiency in change management activities within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of the CAPA process.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Requirements
- Work schedule: 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday with flexibility.
