Remote Clinical Support Specialist
About the Role
Are you passionate about improving patients' lives? Join a growing Clinical Care team dedicated to helping patients receive the safest and most effective medication therapies. In this remote position, you'll work alongside pharmacists to support patients, providers, and pharmacies by coordinating care, resolving medication-related issues, and improving health outcomes.
This is a patient-facing, phone-based role in a high-volume call center environment where you'll spend most of your day engaging with patients, providers, and pharmacies. We're looking for someone who is compassionate, organized, self-motivated, and thrives in a metrics-driven environment.
What You'll Do

Make outbound and inbound calls to patients, providers, and pharmacies.

Explain medication management and clinical support programs to patients.

Gather and accurately document patient health and medication information.

Schedule appointments with clinical pharmacists.

Follow up with providers, pharmacies, hospitals, and patients to resolve medication-related concerns.

Escalate clinical questions and medication issues to a pharmacist.

Document all interactions accurately within the clinical software platform.

Meet individual and team productivity and quality metrics.

Participate in team meetings and process improvement initiatives.

Assist with referrals, authorizations, and patient education as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Pharmacy Technician experience.

Healthcare call center experience.

Experience in retail pharmacy, health plans, or specialty pharmacy customer service.

Active Pharmacy Technician license and/or PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology and medication names.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Vietnamese is a plus.
Schedule
-
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
-
Monday through Friday with operating hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM Pacific.

Up to two rotating Saturdays per month.

Flexibility to work various shifts is preferred.
