Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Biller responsible for conducting higher-level analytical work. This role involves account reconciliations, managing complex financial transactions, and resolving payment discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Account Reconciliation: Accurately balancing and reconciling health plan accounts receivables to ensure all financial records match incoming payments.
• Financial Processing: Managing complex financial transactions, including posting payments, processing refunds, and handling write-offs.
• Payment Discrepancies: Investigating and resolving issues related to returned payments or mismatched billing data.
• Billing Inquiries: Responding to specific billing questions from members, which may involve explaining government policies such as grace periods.
• System Navigation: Utilizing multiple computer programs simultaneously to identify outstanding balances and verify payment deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• 3-5 years of related experience in finance or banking.
• High school diploma.

Skills

• Proficient in Excel to handle complex reconciliation tasks.
• Banking background; experience with government policies regarding grace periods.
