Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Document Control Specialist primarily responsible for supporting Quality Management System (QMS) operations. This role involves managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) revisions, Deviation Reports, Investigations, CAPAs, and approving Batch Records, primarily from a desk with some duties on the manufacturing floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in SOP revisions, deviation reports, investigations, and CAPAs.
- Approve batch records.
- Spend a small percentage of time (10%) assisting with aseptic filling on the manufacturing floor.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of pharma manufacturing experience.
- Experience with SOP Revision, Change Control, CAPAs, Deviations, Investigations, and Batch Record Review.
- AS or BS Degree required.
Skills
- Root Cause Analysis and/or investigation writing experience from the manufacturing floor.
- Technical Writing experience preferred.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Requirements
Contract-to-hire position with public transportation access. Offers cell phone allowance once permanent.
