Job Summary
Our client, a quick-growing company serving the senior population through a Medicare Advantage Value-Based Model, is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant. You will play a crucial role in a value-based care model, working alongside doctors in a retail-type clinic setting, focusing on building relationships with patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake by measuring and recording vital signs, interviewing patients, and collecting medical histories.
- Perform examinations, routine screenings, and phlebotomy.
- Engage with patients, report findings to primary care physicians, and process patient messages.
- Assist with patient dressings, apply first aid, and utilize CPR skills when necessary.
- Provide health coaching and perform EKGs, injections, and diabetic retinopathy screenings.
- Assist with administrative tasks, quality measures, and close Focus on Care Gaps.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Diploma required.
- 1 year of MA experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience.
- Ability to work with diverse populations including staff, providers, members, and vendors.
- Experience working with the elderly population is preferred.
- 6+ months of phlebotomy experience is highly desired.
- Value-Based Care experience is a plus.

Schedule/Shift
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
