Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse responsible for administering medical care, performing clinical and diagnostic tests, and assisting in minor surgical procedures within a team-oriented environment. The role involves documenting medical histories, maintaining accurate medical records, and promoting wellness programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer professional nursing care to sick and/or injured employees.
- Perform and evaluate various clinical and diagnostic tests.
- Assist plant physician in minor surgical procedures.
- Interview and document medical history of employees.
- Maintain appropriate medical records to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Perform and document physical exams.
- Adhere to common practices and procedures throughout the department.
- Maintain equipment and supplies.
- Assist with the promotion of plant wellness programs.
- Interface with health services customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
Qualifications
- State licensed RN
- BLS
- Experience in Occupational Health, Urgent Care, ER preferred
