Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Follow Up Representative responsible for managing account follow-up duties, including unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims, communicating with insurance payers, and overseeing the appeal process. The role requires handling 45+ accounts per day effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Account follow-up for unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims.
- Calling insurance payers and verifying statuses in payer portals.
- Manage the appeals process.
- Achieve production expectations of processing 45+ accounts per day.
Qualifications
- PB Insurance Collections experience
- Experience working with Government & Commercial payers
- 2+ Years of Epic EMR experience, specifically in DRG back-end appeals & denials
- Strong IT/Computer skills (Tech savvy)
- Preferred: Excel experience, remote work experience, ability to identify and report denial/reimbursement trends professionally

- Technical skills: Epic EMR, IT/Computer proficiency
- Soft skills: Ability to professionally report trends, effectively handle communication with payers
Additional Requirements
- This is a 100% remote position, with training and work schedules from 8-4:30 CT/8:30-5 CT.
