Medical Assistant – Family Practice
Location: Southern California
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST (or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM depending on clinic hours)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and clinically skilled Medical Assistant to join our Family Practice team. The ideal candidate is experienced in both front- and back-office workflows, patient triage, preventative care, and supporting providers in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment. This role is focused on delivering excellent patient care while maintaining efficient clinic flow and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities

Room and support an average of 20–25 patients per day while maintaining safe, efficient patient flow.

Room patients and initiate vital signs within approximately 10 minutes of check-in.

Perform clinical duties including vital signs, medical histories, injections/immunizations, venipuncture/phlebotomy, and EKGs.

Assist providers with minor in-office procedures, room setup, and patient charting.

Support patients and providers with clinical inquiries, prescription refills, lab results, and specialist referrals.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Collaborate closely with physicians and mid-level providers to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care.
