Medical Assistant – Family Practice

Location: Southern California
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST (or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM depending on clinic hours)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and clinically skilled Medical Assistant to join our Family Practice team. The ideal candidate is experienced in both front- and back-office workflows, patient triage, preventative care, and supporting providers in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment. This role is focused on delivering excellent patient care while maintaining efficient clinic flow and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Room and support an average of 20–25 patients per day while maintaining safe, efficient patient flow.

• Room patients and initiate vital signs within approximately 10 minutes of check-in.

• Perform clinical duties including vital signs, medical histories, injections/immunizations, venipuncture/phlebotomy, and EKGs.

• Assist providers with minor in-office procedures, room setup, and patient charting.

• Support patients and providers with clinical inquiries, prescription refills, lab results, and specialist referrals.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

• Collaborate closely with physicians and mid-level providers to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care.

• Follow established clinical, safety, and documentation protocols
