Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for managing auditing schedules, overseeing 30 indirect reports including 2 supervisors, and handling both domestic and international suppliers. The role involves maintaining all electronic databases and making cultural changes to enhance team development and client relations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 30 indirect reports with 2 supervisors.
- Handle auditing schedules and manage auditors.
- Work with over 1,000 domestic and international suppliers.
- Maintain all electronic databases.
Qualifications
- BS Degree is required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in supplier quality management and 3+ years in management.
- Industry experience with Med Device ISO 13485, with the ability to adjust to different regulations as needed.
- High proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- Strong team development skills to drive cultural changes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients to build trust in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written communication skills for audit interpretation.
- Formal Quality certification (CSQP, CQE, CQM) preferred.
- Expertise in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) preferred.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in supplier quality management.
- 3+ years in management roles.
Skills
- High computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- Team development and client relationship-building skills.
- Effective communication and writing skills for audits.
