Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Sub-Investigator to join their team with an expertise in clinical trial assessments and psyciatric diagnostic. This role focuses on administering psychiatric scales, ensuring compliance documentation, conducting pre-screening evaluations, and collaborating with a clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer specialized psychiatric diagnostic and symptom rating scales to study participants.
- Complete sponsor experience surveys and maintain an updated clinical CV.
- Conduct phone evaluations and clinical pre-screening calls to assess eligibility of potential participants.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to manage study visits.
- Provide post-trial follow-up care, including telemedicine visits and managing prescriptions.
- Monitor long-duration treatment visits as a licensed clinician/extender for specialized protocols.
Qualifications
- Active credentials as a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or a Physician Assistant (PA) with specialization in psychiatry.
- Proven capability in administering standard psychiatric diagnostic and symptom rating scales.
- Experience working as a Sub-Investigator on clinical trials or a minimum of 5 years as a clinician using DSM-based diagnostic tools.
- Ability to run a clinical team and manage patient workflows independently.
- Skills in conducting initial clinical phone screenings and evaluations.
- Schedule flexibility for occasional rare evening or weekend hours.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a relevant field.
Skills
- Experience with psychedelic and empathogen clinical protocols.
- Clinical supervision capabilities with an interdisciplinary team.
- Handling post-trial patient aftercare and establishing therapy referrals.
- Background working in an academic medical center or clinical teaching environment.
