We are seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Sales & Marketing Coordinator to support our Sales Managers, field sales team, and customer relationships. This role plays an important part in driving business growth through lead generation, account management, sales support, and marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills, the ability to build relationships, and the confidence to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with sales teams, customers, and internal departments to help achieve company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Sales Managers and field sales representatives with daily sales activities and territory management
- Assist with lead generation, customer relationship management, and implementation of marketing strategies
- Identify opportunities and make outbound calls to re-engage inactive customers and lapsed accounts
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, availability, pricing, and recommendations based on customer needs and feedback
- Maintain customer information, sales leads, and account activity within CRM systems
- Manage sales lead pipeline and provide follow-up on opportunities
- Handle inbound customer inquiries, outbound sales calls, and trade show follow-up activities
- Analyze sales trends and results to provide reporting and insights to Sales Managers, Sales Consultants, and Manufacturing teams
- Support account management efforts, including customer retention and product upselling opportunities
- Coordinate new product releases with internal teams and Customer Service representatives
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and support company growth
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, manufacturing procedures, and quality standards
- Provide professional, solutions-focused communication with customers, sales teams, and external contacts
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Direct Marketing, e-Commerce, or a related business environment preferred
- Experience supporting sales and marketing initiatives, including analyzing campaign results
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience maintaining detailed records, documentation, and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the ophthalmic, medical device, or healthcare industry
- Familiarity with FDA Quality System Regulations and ISO standards
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
- CRM experience (ACT or similar systems preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals, customers, and sales representatives
