Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support daily treasury and cash operations. The role involves monitoring cash activity, reconciling banking transactions, reviewing underwriting exceptions, and assisting with the implementation of treasury technology. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate financial records, efficient payment operations, and continuous improvement of treasury processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash activity, including monitoring inflows, outflows, and cash position reporting.
- Reconcile bank transactions with internal system records and investigate discrepancies.
- Review and resolve underwriting exceptions that require manual evaluation after automated processing.
- Support the implementation and adoption of the organization's treasury management platform, including workflow testing and process migration.
- Assist with payment processing and banking operations as needed.
- Maintain accurate treasury documentation and support financial reporting activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and strengthen treasury controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve transaction issues and support ongoing business operations.
- Perform ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects related to treasury and financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 2-6 years of core treasury management/financial operations experience.
- Proficient in Excel, with skills in Pivot Tables and VLookUps.
- Experience with Trovata is highly preferred due to current system implementation.
- Certifications such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) are preferred.
- Project management skills are useful for guiding tech transitions.
