Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join their team. The position involves providing direct clinical services, case management, documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support participants in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations
- Provide individual and group counseling services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment or service plans
- Coordinate referrals to internal and external support services
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Participate in individual and group clinical supervision
- Uphold professional ethics and appropriate boundaries
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Current Ohio licensure or license-eligibility required, including LSW, LPC, LPCC, LISW, or equivalent
- Experience working with justice-impacted individuals, youth, families, or community-based populations preferred
- Strong clinical documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a mental health center, children's services, court system, or prison system
- Experience working with black and brown communities preferred
- Active NPI number and Medicaid billing number preferred
Skills
- Knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive practices
- Comfortable working independently in a fluid, non-rigid environment
Additional Requirements
- Flexible schedule based on patient availability, with some evenings or occasional weekends
