Job Summary
Our client is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities include performing comprehensive medical assessments, managing medication-assisted treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Clinical Care: Perform comprehensive medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations to guide treatment entry and long-term progress.
- Medication Management: Responsibly prescribe and monitor MAT medications such as oral and injectable formulations of buprenorphine and naltrexone.
- Clinical Interventions: Competently administer intramuscular medical injections as required by treatment protocols.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner closely with an integrated network of healthcare professionals to implement recovery plans.
- Patient Education: Guide patients through understanding substance use disorders and the MAT process.
- Compliance & Records: Document clinical care accurately in the Electronic Health Record system, ensuring HIPAA and legal compliance.
- Facility Model: Operate in a high-volume clinic environment and eventually transition to telehealth duties on rotating Saturdays.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Colorado with a valid state DEA registration.
- Exceptional patient rapport-building skills and strong diagnostic reasoning.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

- 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant.
