Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Addiction Medicine (MAT)

Summary:
Join an outpatient addiction medicine team providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for patients with substance use disorders. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with a blend of in-person and telehealth services.

Day to Day:

• Conduct patient assessments, medical histories, physical exams, and develop treatment plans.

• Prescribe and manage MAT medications, including buprenorphine and naltrexone.

• Administer intramuscular medications as needed.

• Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and peer support specialists to coordinate patient care.

• Educate patients on recovery, relapse prevention, and healthy lifestyle changes.

• Maintain accurate documentation within the EHR and ensure compliance with HIPAA and controlled substance regulations.

• Utilize crisis intervention techniques when necessary.

• Provide care in a walk-in outpatient clinic and conduct telehealth visits when not seeing patients on-site.

• Travel to a nearby clinic one day per week to provide coverage.

Shift:

• Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• One Saturday per month on a rotating schedule

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

• Active, unrestricted Colorado NP or PA license.

• Active Colorado DEA registration.

• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

• Two or more years of Physician Assistant experience preferred.
