Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Insurance Collector responsible for managing the insurance accounts receivable portfolio to optimize collections and accelerate cash flow. The role involves interacting with various payers to resolve outstanding issues, conducting data corrections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage AR Portfolio: Oversee assigned insurance accounts receivable to optimize collections.
- Payer Follow-Up: Engage with various payers to address denials and resolve account issues.
- Remittance Analysis: Evaluate EOBs and ERAs to identify causes of non-payment and corrective actions.
- Appeals & Resubmissions: Draft formal appeals and ensure timely submissions.
- Data Correction: Audit and update patient details for accurate claim submissions.
- Account Auditing: Ensure administrative completeness of claims.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams to minimize future denials.
- Documentation & Tracking: Maintain continuous updates within the billing platform.
- Trend Identification: Monitor aging buckets for emerging trends and issues.
- Industry Compliance: Stay updated with insurance policies and reimbursement methodologies.
Qualifications
- Dental or Medical Collections Experience - Ideally Dental
- Strong understanding of denials and insurance claims
- 40+ claims traced per day to gauge metrics
- Multi-Site Experience: Experience within a centralized billing office and for another DSO.
- System Proficiency: Experience with enterprise-level healthcare billing platforms.
Skills
- Revenue Cycle Expertise: Understanding of payer escalation processes and aging report analysis.

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
