MEDICAL ASSISTANT Shoreline, WA & Edmonds, WA

An Outpatient Clinic in Shoreline and Edmonds is looking for a Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join their team.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Welcoming patients, taking vital signs, and documenting accurate medical histories
• Preparing patients for examinations and assisting providers with minor in-office procedures
• Administering injections, performing blood draws, and executing point-of-care testing
• Managing daily patient flow to ensure an outstanding and efficient clinic experience
• Utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) to accurately log patient data and care plans

Schedule/Shift:

• Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 an hour(Dependant on experience)

Requirements:

• Active Washington State Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C) or Medical Assistant - Registered (MA-R)
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to travel 1 to 2 times per week between Shoreline and Edmonds locations (no travel within a single work shift)

Contract Length: 13 weeks. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.
