Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Data Technician to manage and review prescription data entry accurately within the pharmacy software. The role involves handling medical packaging requirements, triaging incoming phone calls professionally, and coordinating workflow needs within a closed-door, automated facility setting. This position offers a non-retail, corporate environment with no direct public or patient interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review prescription data entry accurately within the pharmacy software.
- Handle medical packaging requirements for prescription orders.
- Triage incoming phone calls professionally, primarily communicating with nurses and case managers.
- Coordinate workflow needs efficiently within a closed-door, automated facility setting.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous pharmacy experience.
- Must hold a valid National and State certification.
- Previous medical packaging experience.
Skills
- Ideal Certification Level: Candidates classified as "Pharmacy Tech 2" will be top priority.
- Software proficiency with QS1 and/or Medicine On Time is preferred.
