Our client is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to manage back-office clinical care and administrative workflows in their Spine and Pain Management specialties. Key Responsibilities
- Work in a 1:1 ratio with an assigned provider managing a high volume of 15–21 patients per day.
- Handle full-scope clinical tasks including wound care, suture/staple removal, drain pulls, and collecting urine drug screens.
- Manage administrative tasks on non-clinic days including phone calls, patient messaging, medication refills, paperwork, and prepping for upcoming clinic days.
- Utilize EMR systems: AthenaOne and/or Prognosis EMR systems.
Qualifications
- Must have solid, practical experience managing a high-volume, fast-paced environment independently.
- Proven ability to handle heavy clinical responsibilities autonomously.
- Ready to navigate new systems, act as a team player, and operate as a self-starter.
- Active Washington State Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) is required.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
- No significant gaps in clinical employment.
Skills
- Proficiency with AthenaHealth EMR is highly preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Schedule/Shift: Monday – Friday, Clinic Days start at 7:30 AM, ending around 4:00 PM or 4:30 PM; Admin Days start at 8:00 AM.
