Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Sub-Investigator who will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful conduct of clinical research studies. The position requires maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism while overseeing study protocols, assessing participant compliance, and ensuring the accuracy of collected data.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent our client in a professional and courteous manner during all professional interactions.
- Ensure confidentiality of participant information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of study protocols and ensure compliance with inclusion/exclusion criteria and study procedures.
- Assess participant compliance with protocol requirements and observe responses to therapy.
- Document and report serious adverse events and deviations from protocol promptly.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacy, nursing, administration, and study personnel to ensure excellence in study conduct and patient care.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.), Physician’s Assistant (P.A.), or Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APRN).
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in performing physicals, assessing, and treating patients.
- 1-3+ years' experience within the field of oncology clinical research; early-phase oncology clinical trial experience preferred.
Skills
- Strong supervision, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to make sound medical judgments under stressful situations.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the clinical research process, including Good Clinical Practices.
