Job Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Credentialing Specialist to join their corporate team. This role is responsible for accurately entering, verifying, and maintaining sensitive information. The ideal candidate will maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a commitment to data accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Update sensitive information at the Medicaid Website for various payors across the country.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies or incomplete information by following up with internal stakeholders.
- Perform quality control audits to verify the accuracy of previously entered data.
- Adhere to data security protocols and safeguard patient confidentiality.
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy benchmarks as established by the department.
- Support process improvements to streamline data entry workflows.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- 1+ year of data entry, medical records, or pharmacy support experience in credentialing and enrollment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy systems (e.g., Cerner, Epic, or similar platforms).
- Strong typing skills (minimum 60 WPM) and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain productivity in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare terminology.
Skills

- Excellent communicator.
- Able to work independently in a production-driven environment.
- Needs a WFH office setup (HIPAA compliant office space, dual monitor, high-speed internet, etc.).
Additional Requirements
Talent needs to have experience with the Provider Enrollment Credentialing process with Medicaid.
