Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage and oversee key aspects of the accounts payable processes. The primary responsibilities of this role include month-end close, accounts payable management, and treasury compliance, along with annual and specialized tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly drug inventory and miscellaneous cash journal entries by Day 1.
- Compile AP accruals based on corporate reporting.
- Review and code invoices for accuracy, including route codes, GL coding, and location.
- Manage vendor setups, resolve discrepancies, and track payment status.
- Maintain the AP workflow system and collaborate with practice management on site-specific coding.
- Coordinate with AP Customer Service to ensure timely entries and corrections.
- Process escheatment checks, manage lockbox transfers, and record PLLC benefit deposits.
- Prepare and distribute monthly invoices to relevant stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality of practice and patient data.
- Support annual drug inventory audits and distribute physician K-1 forms.
- Foster collaborative partnerships across departments and execute other duties as assigned to support the accounting function.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ Years of AP experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Associates Degree (Preferred)
- Healthcare Experience (Preferred)

- Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Soft skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Additional Requirements
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
