Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse Unit Manager responsible for assessing and collecting patient health data, collaborating with care teams to develop and execute patient care plans, administering immunizations and medications, and ensuring infection control compliance within the practice. This role also involves managing urgent and emergent patient situations and coordinating multidisciplinary health care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assesses and collects data related to patient health status and inputs medical information into the EMR as instructed by the physician.
- Works with the care team to develop and coordinate patient care plans across various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and home care.
- Administers immunizations and medications as needed and assists with medication management.
- Handles telephone, My Chart, and in-person triage for symptom management and patient education.
- Coordinates multidisciplinary health care services and arranges diagnostic tests as ordered by physicians.
- Ensures infection control compliance within the practice.
- May float to other clinics as needed and establish standard clinical and medication supply protocols.
- Other duties as assigned and appropriate to scope, education, and/or training.
Qualifications
- NY RN license
- Proficiency with EPIC (preferred)

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
