Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Compounding Manager responsible for overseeing a team of technicians and production support personnel. The role involves direct management tasks and active participation in production activities, ensuring smooth operations in compounding processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct manager to technicians and production support personnel.
- Perform production activities as needed, acting as a player-coach.
- Oversee 6+ Compounding Technicians and 3+ Production Support Technicians.
- Report directly to the Pharmacy in Charge (PIC).
- Engage in compounding activities 40% of the time and oversee administrative tasks like labeling and visual inspection 60% of the time.
- Opportunity to grow into an Operations Manager role as the company expands.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma / GED required.
- 2+ years of lead or supervisory experience.
- Experience in sterile manufacturing preferred (e.g., Quva, Empower, Lonza).
- Direct report experience is essential.
- GMP manufacturing experience is a must.
- The more leadership experience, the better.
Schedule
Normal working hours are from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
