Job Summary
Our client is looking for an Insurance Specialist who will be responsible for managing accounts, resolving past-due balances, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards. This role requires handling inquiries, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of patient and guarantor information.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify problem accounts and resolve past-due issues with payors.
- Research inquiries on past-due balances and insurance guidelines.
- Resolve delinquent accounts and direct to collections if necessary.
- Prepare and analyze reports to address accounts receivable issues.
- Handle data entry, verification, and mathematical computations.
- Compose routine correspondence and handle documentation.
- Communicate with insurance carriers for required documentation.
- Process account receivable reports and manage mail.
- Provide outstanding customer service and team support.
- Train new and existing staff as needed.
Qualifications
- At least five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Insurance and Patient Accounts Receivable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Understanding of dental and medical insurance.
- Dental experience is a plus.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Schedule/Shift
M-F 8am-5pm Onsite
