Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for patient intake, specialized care, and procedure preparation. The role involves performing diagnostic testing and efficient documentation within the EMR system, while collaborating with team members to ensure optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Escort patients to exam rooms and record accurate vital signs.
- Perform diabetic finger sticks and place Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs).
- Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for in-office ultrasounds and biopsies.
- Conduct blood draws, balance testing, and circulatory testing.
- Efficiently chart patient data within the EMR system.
- Communicate test results and physician instructions to patients.
- Assist other doctors and team members when needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical assistant experience.
- Certification is not required; talented uncertified candidates are welcome.
- Flexibility to travel to all three office locations weekly.
- Strong clinical capabilities, EMR familiarity, and a team-first attitude.
- Experience with eClinical Works is preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work in a fixed weekly rotation across different office locations.
- Availability to work a typical 4-day work week with longer days depending on the assigned doctor.
- Saturday work required once per month.
- Paid overtime after 40 hours per week, per state regulations.
