Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Technical Support Manager responsible for acting as the primary point of contact for technical requests, managing and resolving incoming tickets, and handling a variety of IT support tasks in a business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical requests, managing and resolving incoming tickets via Freshworks phone, email, and remote tools.
- Execute end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding workflows, including account setups, network access provisioning, and device permissions audits.
- Asset tag, configure, image, and physically deploy workstations, laptops, and mobile devices (iPads). Coordinate the shipping, tracking, and retrieval of equipment for remote and field staff.
- Handle daily support tasks within a centralized Microsoft 365 environment, including Active Directory/Entra ID management and fundamental Intune endpoint policies.
- Troubleshoot standard hardware, software, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity issues, efficiently routing complex back-end infrastructure problems to specialized tier-two team members.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional IT technical support experience in a business environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Solid proficiency with the Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Windows, user account security) and modern remote desktop tools.
- General exposure to or working knowledge of ticketing systems, CRM platforms (such as Salesforce), and email security fundamentals (such as Proofpoint).
- Must be able to manage physical asset tracking and occasionally lift or move IT equipment up to 25 pounds.
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) or an Associate's Degree are highly preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft ecosystem and remote desktop tools.
- Ability to manage tickets and work with CRM platforms and email security.
- Physical asset management skills.
Additional Requirements
Potential for on-call support; schedule is M-F 8am - 5pm with flexibility for on-call support.
