We are seeking a skilled Nuc Med Tech to join our premier outpatient specialty center in the heart of Austin, TX. In this role, you will work within a collaborative 3-technologist team, utilizing state-of-the-art Siemens equipment (all less than 1.5 years old) including a Spect CT Camera. This position offers an incredible opportunity to work with advanced interventional radiology and theranostics—with full training provided if you look to expand your skillset!

Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Diagnostic Imaging: Demonstrate competency and proficiency following established protocols in the performance of all nuclear medicine and radiographic examinations.
- Specialized Procedures: Operate cutting-edge Siemens equipment to conduct interventional radiology and theranostics procedures. Manage data processing and display across multiple workstation platforms.
- Clinical Collaboration & Workflow: Perform daily quality assurance of the NM schedule to address potential conflicts, obtain necessary lab work/prior studies, and verify all images, tech notes, and required documents successfully transmit to PACS.
- Patient-Centered Care: Provide exceptional care by explaining exams, medications, radiation safety, and positioning to reduce patient anxiety. Exhibit proficient IV skills and placement of EKG leads while tracking patients safely from exam start to discharge.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Setting: Outpatient Specialty Center (ARA Mid-town)
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No evening shifts!)
- Work-Life Balance: Zero on-call requirements, no weekends, and no holidays!
- Patient Volume: A highly manageable pace of 5–7 scans per day on average, ensuring you can focus on quality patient care.

Qualifications & Skills Required
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
- Certifications: Credentialed by the ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT). Dual PET/NM or dedicated PET backgrounds will also be highly considered.
- Licensure: Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) regular license with the Texas Board.
- Basic Life Support: Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience with Y90s and Theranostics is a major plus, but the clinic is fully willing to train an enthusiastic tech looking to learn!
