Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Follow Up Representative who will be responsible for managing account follow-ups for unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims. The ideal candidate will handle the appeal process and ensure a quality goal of 95% is achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all account follow-up duties for unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims.
- Call insurance payers and check statuses in payer portals.
- Manage the appeal process.
- Achieve a production expectation of 45-55+ accounts per day, depending on the payer.
- Maintain a quality goal of 95%.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of PB Insurance Collections experience.
- Experience working with Government & Commercial payers.
- Strong IT/computer skills (tech-savvy).
- Cerner EMR experience preferred.
- Excel experience preferred.
- Previous experience working remotely preferred.
- Ability to identify denial/reimbursement trends and report them professionally preferred.
Additional Requirements
Work schedule is Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour shift within the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM PST. Staff must work a centralized schedule during the first two weeks for training alignment.
