Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Follow Up Representative who will be responsible for managing account follow-ups for unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims. The ideal candidate will handle the appeal process and ensure a quality goal of 95% is achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all account follow-up duties for unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims.
• Call insurance payers and check statuses in payer portals.
• Manage the appeal process.
• Achieve a production expectation of 45-55+ accounts per day, depending on the payer.
• Maintain a quality goal of 95%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PB Insurance Collections experience.
• Experience working with Government & Commercial payers.
• Strong IT/computer skills (tech-savvy).
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• Excel experience preferred.
• Previous experience working remotely preferred.
• Ability to identify denial/reimbursement trends and report them professionally preferred.

Additional Requirements

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour shift within the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM PST. Staff must work a centralized schedule during the first two weeks for training alignment.
