Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Virtual Assistant with strong expertise in enteral and parenteral nutrition. This role involves providing clinical support for parenteral nutrition patients, developing care plans, monitoring nutritional therapy, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care in a field-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides daily clinical support for parenteral nutrition (PN) patients, including assessments and care plan development.
- Educates patients, caregivers, and clinical staff on nutrition management.
- Collaborates with sales teams to support nutrition-related sales efforts and maintain provider relationships.
- Maintains expertise in EN/PN products, reimbursement guidelines, and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
- Supports training and education for new dietitians and nutrition-support staff.
- Participates in on-call dietitian rotation and complies with legal, ethical, and patient confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with a license/certification in the current state of practice.
- Two years of experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition.
- Board Certification in Nutrition Support or intent to receive within 1 year of hire.
- Current CPR certification if patient facing.
