Job Summary
Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. This is a hands-on role responsible for receiving, shipping, inventory management, material handling, and order fulfillment activities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong multitasking abilities, and be comfortable working with warehouse technology and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments.
- Load and unload outbound shipments while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage daily warehouse activity involving approximately 8–10 trucks per day, including both incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Put away materials into designated warehouse locations using established inventory procedures.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer or production orders for shipment.
- Utilize RF (Radio Frequency) scanners to track inventory movements and maintain system accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle count activities.
- Coordinate priorities effectively while balancing multiple tasks throughout the day.
- Assist with handling increased shipment volumes during peak periods, including monthly spikes related to international shipments and customs processing.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including a sit-down forklift.
- Transport materials between warehouse locations as needed using company vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or material handling experience.
- Ability to effectively multitask and reprioritize work throughout the day.
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Basic computer proficiency, including email communication, calendar management, and general computer navigation.
- Experience using RF scanners or similar inventory tracking systems.
- Ability and willingness to operate a sit-down forklift.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to become insurable under company vehicle requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently after training while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
