Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $25.96 - $38.94 hr

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both clinical and administrative functions while working alongside providers in a collaborative care environment.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties (Approximately 50%)
- Room patients and prepare exam rooms
- Obtain and document vital signs and patient information
- Assist providers during patient visits and procedures
- Communicate patient needs and status to clinicians
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms
- Stock and monitor medical supplies
- Support patient care activities under provider supervision
Administrative Duties (Approximately 50%)
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-up
- Process referrals and prior authorizations
- Verify insurance information and coordinate benefits
- Answer and route patient phone calls
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Prepare and review patient charts before appointments
- Document information accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR)
Qualifications
Required
- Current Washington State Department of Health Certified Medical Assistant credential (CMA or MA-C)
- Current BLS/CPR certification from:
- American Heart Association (AHA)
- American Red Cross
- Military Training Network
- COVID-19 and Hepatitis B vaccination documentation or attestation
- Ability to thrive in a primary care environment
- Strong communication and patient service skills
Preferred
- Experience with Epic/MyChart or other EMR systems
- Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics
- Phlebotomy experience
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities

- No patient appointments scheduled between 12:00 PM–1:00 PM
